Gallileo Testing

Tuesday and Wednesday, January 25 and 26, students will be taking the Gallileo Reading and Math assessments. If they have already passed this test they will be participating in various college / real world prep presentations. Room tickets will be given out in second hour. Don't loose yours!

Block 3

We are off and running! It's actually the start of week 4. We're almost to the halfway point in the block! Can you believe it? Everything seems to be moving smoothly this block. Though, I'm sure everyone, students and teachers, would be happier if it would hurry up and get warmer. This is always the toughest block due to the winter weather.

Block 2 Begins

We are now mid-week 1 of Block 2. Sadly, there was no "fall break" but we do get out a tad earlier for Christmas....totally worth it! I hope everyone has a wonderful Block 2!

Students vs. Teachers

Friday saw the first ever students vs. teachers volleyball game. I was quite impressed with the turnout. Several students played with most of the others willing to watch and /or cheer the game on. Teachers and staff volunteered to play....and made a great showing.

The teachers won the first game! The second game was called early due to the ball being lost to the school's roof.

All in all, it was a great game and lunch period. Hopefully, we get to do this again soon!

Back to School BBQ

Friday was our welcome back bbq. There was food, music, and entertainment provided for the whole school. Plus, students were able to bring a school-aged friend with them to campus!
